As a holistically trained psychotherapist and yoga teacher, my role with clients is to provide a safe container for psychotherapeutic work.
I use a holistic, trauma-informed, attachment based, and internal family systems perspective to inform my practice. I believe that people are doing their best. I believe the therapeutic container that we co-create is a powerful tool. I believe that a person is a whole being and I do my best to keep in mind all spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical aspects in healing. I respect the relationship I have with my client and hold it as the most sacred element in the therapeutic relationship. I encourage the use of body-awareness, meditation, and relaxation techniques as a part of the healing journey.
Because my background is in family work, I am often able to explore with clients how their present day patterns and challenges may be linked to their internal family system, childhood experiences, and/or other attachments. I also use our therapeutic relationship to work with attachment trauma and build a healthy loving relationship within our therapeutic boundaries.
